To all the mothers and grandmother out there who are and have spent countless hours just trying to keep all their ducks in a row, HAPPY MOTHERS DAY!

05/09/2026

Good morning, Sterling. The sun is hitting the teal trim at 216 Main and the sidewalk tables are going out.

Hidden Treasures Vault is open 10 to 4 today for Mother's Day on Main. Handmade gifts and home decor up front, plus the newer chaos inside — Pokemon, Labubu dolls, houseplants, and vintage albums for the moms who don't want another candle.

First 10 people who mention "Facebook neighbor" get 10% off their Mother's Day pick.

Come walk Main before the wind picks up. I'll be the one in the apron by the planters.

I was 62 on Black Friday 2024 when I turned the key at 216 Main and opened Hidden Treasures Vault.

I didn't want another generic gift shop. I wanted a spot where fellow crafters felt welcome, where you could actually find something handmade for your home that didn't come off a big-box truck.

A year and a half later, we're still that place. We just grew a little weirder in the best way. You'll still find the handcrafted gifts and home decor, but now the shelves also hold Pokémon cards, Labubu dolls, houseplants that don't judge you, and vintage albums spinning behind the counter.

Tomorrow, Saturday, we're celebrating early for Mother's Day right on the sidewalk. We'll have tables out front from 10:30 to 4 with ready-to-gift bundles, planters, handmade gift baskets, and a few "mom, you really deserve this" surprises.

If you see this, come say hi and mention "Facebook neighbor" and I'll take 10% off your Mother's Day pick. Just because you read this far.

Thank you, Sterling, for letting a 62-year-old crafter take a chance on Main Street. What is one handmade gift your mom still talks about years later?
