The Saturday Market on Fourth returns to downtown Steubenville today!

The 100 block of North Fourth Street will be closed down for this street market, which is family and dog friendly!

Vendors include Tacos Jorges Mexican Food Truck, Busy Bees Acres (produce, hanging flowers, and plant starters), Into the Desert custom wood products, Swicks Wicks candles, Hachis Barkery dog treats, Casa Covarrubias Bakery, Petals and Pots, TJ's Treats , Handcrafted Closet Baby Co., Chinchi's Treats (baked goods), braid+bloom, Cozy Dining Stories (microgreens), Drizzle Me Pretty, Journey2Joy, Homeward Bound of Steubenville, and more!
4th Street businesses open include Steubenville Grocery Box, Leonardo's Coffee, Bookmarx, Spyridon Studios, Yorgos, Steubenville Popcorn, and Chesterton Ci**rs.
We have a lego build and chalk drawing for kids, co****le and gagaball!

The Jefferson County General Health District (JCGHD) is giving away FREE bike helmets to help kids ride safely this summer! 🚲💨

📅 Saturday, May 16
⏰ Meet at 8:50 AM | Ride starts at 9:00 AM

As the school year wraps up and summer riding season begins, we’re promoting bike safety across the Ohio Valley. With 100+ helmets available, there should be plenty to go around — while supplies last! 🪖

We’ll also be hosting our Cycle the City ride just before the kids’ event, geared toward teens and adults who want to enjoy safe community rides through the city. 🚴‍♀️🚴

Bring the family, enjoy the market, ride safely, and pick up a free helmet!

Cycle the City is a free, community Bike Ride hosted by the Jefferson County General Health District and the Steubenville Chapter of Strong Towns.

These rides take place on the 3rd Saturday of each month through August! Following the ride, there will be refreshments and a time of fellowship in the at the The Saturday Market on Fourth. We look forward to cycling with you in our great city together this season!

Schedule

• 8:50am: meet at the Historic Fort Steuben Fountain

• 9:00am: ride start

• Route: this route is a riding tour of downtown, starting at the Fort Steuben water fountain, riding throughout downtown, and ending at the Saturday Farmer’s Market on 4th St.

• Bikes: Make sure to bring your own bike!

• Age: For safety reasons, as we are riding on main roads, this ride is only for those going in to High School and older. A parent MUST be present with riders under the age of 15.

• Note: We will have multiple leaders present throughout the group to be with riders of all different speeds.

The Saturday Market concludes its season THIS SATURDAY in downtown Steubenville! Come hear live music from and and pick up fresh local produce, visit craft vendors and the unique businesses on North Fourth Street! The Market runs from 10am-1pm.
