TOMORROW: Thursday, June 4th, Girls on Gravel is hosting their weekly training and social rides here in Stevens Point! This is an awesome way to celebrate Wisconsin Bike Week here in Point, get outside, and ride together. The training ride starts at 5 PM, but if you're looking for a more laid back pace, the social ride begins at 5:30 PM. Rides this week will be leaving from Stevens Point Brewery. Join the Hostel Shoppe in celebrating the USA’s 250 Year Anniversary, known as the Semiquincentennial, with “The Revolutionary Ride 250-Mile Challenge” where we challenge you to ride 250 miles starting June 1st through July 4th. Riders who complete the challenge by July 4th will receive a free “Revolutionary Ride” commemorative t-shirt. We're super excited to announce Spokes Fighting Strokes is coming back to central Wisconsin with several adaptive cycling clinics this July!

Spokes Fighting Strokes is a non-profit organization founded by Dan Zimmerman focused on helping those affected by a wide range of physical and mental disabilities on their journey to rehabilitation by utilizing recumbent trikes. Spokes Fighting Strokes has been touring the United States for five years, providing FREE open recumbent trike riding clinics to stroke survivors, paraplegics, and those affected by neural degenerative diseases like M.S, Parkinson's, & Alzheimer's.

This July 14th, 15th, and 16th, join Dan for a FREE adaptive cycling clinic. These clinics will be held in Stevens Point and Marshfield, as well as in Tomah at the Tomah VA Center for veterans and their families. These clinics include: a motivating seminar led by Dan, a group ride on local trails using adaptive trikes, personalized trike recommendations & rehab support, and free refreshments & snacks provided by the Hostel Shoppe.
