Over the weekend, our Julie was celebrating her Birthday and we can’t believe we missed it! Gahhh

Julie does it all, from helping customers pick out yarn for their patterns, to rescuing dropped stitches with a smile, to offering great advice on color combos and teaching classes. 🧶💫

Julie usually has dog treats in her pocket. She might remember your dog’s name before she remembers yours. Julie is everyone’s biggest cheerleader, believes you can do hard things, and makes everyone feel welcome. Look for the person wearing gold and orange. That’s our Julie.

🤩 Carly Stipe of Darn Knit Anyway 🤩

Our very own Carly Stipe is the final dyer for our Minnesconsin Winter Box! Carly is Aimee’s cousin and has been part of Darn Knit Anyway since the beginning. Not only does she spin yarn, she has an uncanny talent for finding four-leaf clovers, and once had a business making duct-tape purses that were sold in shops across the country. Yep, really!

Lately, Carly has been putting that creative energy into dyeing roving and yarn. Her color choices range from bright pinks and oranges to dusty purples and earthy browns. We can’t wait to see what colors Carly dreams up.

We are open today!! Labor Day!

Our Main Street store is open from 10am - 4pm today and it's the Aimee and Carly show.

Oh my goodness. It's been soooo long since Carly and I worked the floor together.

If you've been with us for many years, you know...it used to be ONLY the Aimee and Carly show:) We are so lucky to now have so many amazing members of our team to help steer the ship.

We've given them all the day off today and decided to have some fun together. Stop and see us!

If you have been to a fiber festival, in the midwest, you have certainly seen, and probably purchased, a skein or two of Interlacements Yarn. Founded in 1996, Keli purchased the business from Tracey in 2022 and has carried on the art of dyeing clear, vibrant, repeatable colorways on both wool and rayon bases. We are thrilled she’s dyeing up a skein for Minnesconsin too!
