STOUGHTON ART WALK THIS SATURDAY 10AM TO 4PM*. PERFECT weather expected! Connie Graham is with us for the 4th year in a row - her artist statement: "I look forward to being at Diakonos Designs for my 4th consecutive ArtWalk Stoughton this weekend! I am a collage artist from Wausau, Wisconsin. My process involves painting layers of paint on paper with reductive techniques to develop texture, and additive effects through printmaking. Each sheet of paper has its own unique combination! Next, I sketch what I plan to collage and cut from those colorful sheets to make compositions in a realistic setting, an abstract or even whimsical way. The collages are pieced together from larger forms, to the final intricate shapes layered on top - until the last details are complete!"

WE ARE ON FOR CHEESE DAYS! While the forecast is for rain - most of the heavy stuff (1.5 inches) will come overnight - with only 2/10ths of an inch coming in the morning and another 2/10th mid afternoon - barely enough to reach for the umbrella. See map - we are in booth 6 of the Makers Market - one full block west of the main square - across from shuttle bus drop zone (by church). Hope to see you there!

DEMETRA'S METAL HEART SCULPTURES ARE BACK IN STOCK! Stoughton metal artisan Demetra Saloutos makes these amazing heart shaped wall sculptures for us - some we sell just the heart on twine for $29, and some we embellish with clay word beads and 16 guage wire for $45 - 11 different hearts on display - hurry in for best selection!

MT HOREB ART FAIR THIS WEEKEND! Our 10th anniversary of this show - albeit we have not gone all 10 years - this is a throw back picture from 2016 when the art fair was in the middle of main street! Just like 2024 and 2025, we will be at the south end of the Duluth Trading Parking Lot in booth 122 - near several food trucks :) Forecast is mid-80s with a breeze, plus smoke should be gone. Perfect for enjoying the weekend outdoors!
