Please forgive the duration of time that has passed since I have last posted . Gotta say it's been tough.
Mike always referred to me as his rock, but in all reality he was more of my rock then I ever realized and or gave him credit for. I am truly lost without him by my side.
Self reflection is sometimes not as kind as we would like it to be. We tend to unearth and dwell on so many possible mistakes we may have made . In hindsight we always seem to find one or many alternative actions we might have taken that may have led to a different outcome...thing is we can never go back and change what has been done .. nor can we ever retrieve a spoken word.. or ever be able to speak the words that have been left unspoken . This can be overwhelmingly hard to accept, especially when a long battle comes to end in a way that was never, preceivable to oneself . This is where the prayer for the wisdom to accept the things that we cannot change comes to heart. I continue to pray for this wisdom everyday.
We appreciate so much your comforting words , thoughts, memories , prayers and the condolences you have gifted our family with. They touched each of us in a very special way. They will remain Forever in our β€οΈs
Our daughter Candyce has decided to join me here at the shop and since we placed a sign in the window ( Opening May 21st ) (we are committed) so with and in honor of Michael we will be doing our best . We are grateful for your continued patience and support as we began our endeavor to move on . Things at the shop are not perfect but given time perhaps we will edge closer to that mark.
As many of you know Mike fought relentlessly to win this battle. He loved life and his family. He highly valued and respected his friendships many of which formed over the last 20+ years at the shop. He was and felt very blessed .( amazing people)
