Good morning stitchers....a framing reminder for any of you hoping to have Cara frame your pieces. She will be at the shop on Friday, August 28. She will be available around 11:30 to meet with you and able to show you some of the many mouldings She has. She suggests you email her a picture of your finished piece so she can sort her mouldings to bring plenty of choices for you. The 28th is also the last date for her to guarantee your piece will be ready by Christmas. When I get in the shop this morning I will post her email address for any who would like to reach out. Good steamy Friday. Our new charts have arrived and are ready to go. We have Primrose Cottage, Jeannette Douglas, Heart in Hand, Shakespeare's Peddler, Scattered Seeds, Primitive Hare, Erica Michaels, Hands on Design, Summer House Stitche Workes, Artsy Housewife, Needle & Moss and Twin Peak Primitives. I have fabric on order from Fox & Rabbit & I will be ordering new Teresa Kogut beginning of the week. ........quick reminder that I will be open this Sunday from 12 to 4. Hoping you are all staying cool & getting plenty of stitching done....have a great weekend. Marcia

Happy August Stitchy Friends....
New designs are arriving in the next few days so I will update shortly on who has arrived.
There are a few changes to the shop hours over the next 2 weeks. Corrin is hosting her retreat this weekend so I will be open this Sunday, the 9th from 12 to 4 for any of her attendees heading back this way. If you need anything feel free to stop by since I will be open. On Thurs. Aug. 13th I will only be open from 10 to 12. JR has a procedure in the afternoon and I am his driver.. The shop will also be closed on Sat. Aug. 15th. We will be back our normal hours Tues. Aug 18th........feel free to leave a message on the shop phone & I will return your call when I am back in the shop. Marcia

Quick update regarding framing. Cara says she is now working at a 12 week turnaround for framing. Her business is picking up big time.
If there is something you need by Christmas, she will need to have it by the end of August. Her next trip to HodgePodge will be Aug. 28. She also suggests if you will be needing to pick mouldings, just send her a picture of what you will be bringing to the shop & she will have a better idea of the types of mouldings to bring for you to pick from.I know we have had Mike do some of framing, but he is mentioning more often that he is considering closing the shop the end of this year. I will keep you posted on this development. Marcia

Good morning stitchers!! Quick reminder that our friendly framer, Cara will be in the shop this Friday the 24th. Should be here around 11:00 & she will have mouldings to choose from with her. Not sure her August schedule as yet. I now have the full line of Sulky Cotton Petites in stock. Just received 70 colors we did not have. Over the next few days I will be stocking new Dinky Dye Silks also...........stayed tuned, more new arrivals on the way. Marcia

Good steamy Friday....wanted to give you the date that Cara will be stopping by if you have framing needs. She will here Friday, the 24th around 11:00. She will be bringing molding samples. Take stock of what you have finished stitching & let's get them with Cara.

Good evening stitchers....first note....the shop will be closed on Saturday, July 4th. Our hours Tues thru Friday are normal.
I have received new designs this past week from Annie Beez, Scarlett House, Antique Needleworkers , Blue Flower, Cottage Garden, Summer House Stitche Workes, Tiny Modernist, Fox and Rabbit, the 2026 Halloween Magazine, Luminous Fiber Arts, Carriage House Samplings, Twin Peak Primitives, Primitive Hare and Happinss is Heartmade.....
Starting to see fall, Halloween & Christmas designs for those of you who are ready to move on from Patriotic. We really did have some fantastic Patriotic designs this year and keep in mind you can continue to stitch for years to come & change the dates.
It seems we have some serious heat headed our way for this week....stay hydrated, stay indoors & stitch away. Marcia

Good evening stitchers....today was a lovely day to stitch!! I spent 8 hours in the shop cutting fabric.
My shipments arrived from Grace Notes, Fox & Rabbit, Barefoot Needleart and Needle Bling.
I have many more hours of cutting to do, but lots of colors are out now. I am waiting on new designs to arrive this week and also waiting on Teresa Kogut designs.
Hope you are enjoying the beginning of summer and really hope you all have finished your Patriotic pieces for July 4th!!
