The Most Complete Sewing Machine Store in the USA Pocono Sew & Vac has been serving our customers for over 40 years. Bob and Fran are no longer alone.

From our humble beginnings in 1979 in a small storefront, with Bob handling the sewing machines and Fran fixing vacuums, we have grown into our location on Main Street in lovely downtown Stroudsburg, in the heart of the Pocono Mountains. Our 7000 square foot facility boasts a large showroom with a tremendous array of demonstration machines that you can “try before you buy.” We also have another 7

000 square feet of warehousing space, so we very rarely run out of anything and our customers can count on us to have what they need. They now have a staff of over 15 people, most with 15-20+ years of industry experience, working to provide the extensive knowledge and service that our customers have come to rely on. Our dedicated service department can also provide parts and repairs for all models of home sewing machines. To augment our extensive machine line, we also carry a wide variety of sewing notions, accessories and fabric. As part of our continued efforts to serve the Quilters out there, we have expanded our fabric lines and carry approximately 3000+ bolts at 20% off from the best designers, and a 40% rack with up to 500 bolts. We have also added 2 classrooms to our facility to accommodate our growing education department. Our expert teachers offer lessons and specialty classes designed to benefit beginners, as well as the most advanced sewer. We offer it all! Now, let’s talk vacuums. We also carry an extensive inventory of bags, belts, and filters for most manufacturers' machines and specialize in the hard to find ones. Our service department has a vast stock of parts and an expert team to keep them running!

A big thanks to Mary F. from South Carolina who called in after watching one of our Fabric Updates on YouTube. She picked out such a fun bunch of fabrics!

Although we don't have fabric on our website, we are always able to take fabric orders over the phone! We're a little behind on our Fabric Updates, but we will have a new one posted by the end of next week.

We've received so many new collections over the past few weeks, including Halloween and Christmas! 👻🎅 Stay tuned to see what's new 🫣

These little doo-dads are incredible tools to save you time, energy, and prevents you from getting burns on your fingers while making bias tape! They come in a few different sizes, and we have them available on our site!

“SEW ALONG VIDEOS AND POCKETS!!! She gives great directions in her videos and in the physical pattern book. It’s fun and flowy for a cute summer-y vibe. I love the versatility to add billow-y sleeves or to just make it a top. I did decide to go rogue and add a drawstring, but that’s what makes this pattern so great is if you wanna change anything it’s easy to do that including the pattern sizing and she shows you how to adapt the pattern to fit you perfectly. You get 8 patterns in one (including making these maxi style), what else could you ask for?!?!”
