Today in music history.

On June 5, 1983 U2 filmed 'U2 Live at Red Rocks: Under a Blood Red Sky.' Since then, Rolling Stone has regarded the performance as one of the "50 Moments that Changed the History of Rock and Roll."

Ever since I saw the video of this performance as a kid, it was a bucket list location for me.

About 10 years ago I made my first trip to Red Rocks to see my favorite band Slightly Stoopid play to a sold out crowd and was able to mash up this photo. From that moment on I’ve gone back every year to see Stoopid crush it.

A magical place. In my opinion no better place to see your favorite band perform.

Most people know how I feel about parking downtown, and this is another example of pure stupidity.

Imagine owning a business and letting your employees park right in front of your shop all day, taking up spaces that are supposed to be for customers. Better yet, imagine being the owner and doing it yourself.

We constantly hear about how businesses need more customers downtown, yet some people are blocking the most convenient parking spots before customers even have a chance to use them.

It’s hard enough finding parking on Main Street as it is.

Some people just don’t get it.
