Some treasures don’t just take you back in time… they LIGHT UP! ✨

Today’s throwback is uranium glass, a fascinating collectible known for its incredible neon-green glow under UV light. Much of the uranium glass collectors hunt for today dates back decades — and there’s just something ridiculously cool about watching these pieces come alive under a blacklight. 😍

What an AMAZING floral class on Saturday by Bettina Jacobs Newcomb 🌸🌿💐

There’s just something special about watching a table full of flowers, creativity, and a little bit of chaos turn into absolutely gorgeous arrangements. And WOW… these ladies delivered! 😍

From choosing the perfect blooms to learning how to bring all the colors, textures, and greenery together, this class was filled with creativity, laughter, and plenty of “Ohhhh, I LOVE that!” moments.

The best part? No two arrangements were exactly alike. Everyone put a little bit of their own personality into their creation—and the finished pieces were STUNNING.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this class such a wonderful experience. 🌷 Classes like this are exactly what we love—coming together, trying something new, meeting people, and leaving with something beautiful you made yourself.

And judging by these arrangements… we may have a few new floral designers on our hands! 😉💐

🔎✨ TIP TUESDAY: HOW TO SPOT SOMETHING SPECIAL

Want to know one of the secrets to finding the GOOD stuff?

Don’t just look at the front — investigate! 👀

When something catches your eye, pick it up and look for clues:

🔹 Turn it over — maker’s marks, signatures, stamps, labels and numbers can tell a story.

🔹 Look at how it’s made — hand-cut joints, hand stitching, uneven details or signs of craftsmanship can mean you’ve found something special.

🔹 Check the materials — real wood, heavy glass, brass, sterling, pottery and natural materials often deserve a closer look.

🔹 Don’t be scared of age — scratches, patina, crazing and wear aren’t always flaws. Sometimes they’re exactly what you WANT to see.

🔹 And Google Lens is your friend! 📱 Snap a picture and see what you can discover.

✨ BEST TIP OF ALL: If you’ve never seen one before, PICK IT UP.

The most interesting treasures usually don’t have a giant sign saying, “HEY! I’M SPECIAL!” 😂
