Christmas on the streets is a sad and difficult time. For those who experience homelessness, there is no countdown to Santa, no gift wrapping, and no plans with the family. Every day looks the same. There are no parties or celebrations when you are homeless. Everyone is struggling to survive and stay afloat from the grim and desperate reality they face. It shouldn’t be like that for them. The holidays are usually a time of joy and rejoicing, but not for them...
Even small donations make a difference. Donations, like toiletries, make someone’s day, letting them know that people care about them. Most people think donations should be money. Although money is a useful commodity for the homeless, toiletries and other items are more wisely used and more useful. Another good donation would be coats, jackets, socks, children’s toys, etc. Any donation is highly appreciated.
If you want to help us brighten up these festivities for some people we invite you to visit our wish list on amazon.
