I've been thinking a lot this week about how easy it is to keep our eyes on what's next. The next goal. The next milestone. The next version of ourselves we're working so hard to become.
And don't get me wrong, I love a good plan. Dreaming and building is part of who I am. But today, I want to invite you to pause with me for just a moment.
Here's the thought that's been sitting on my heart: at some point in your life, you may have wished and prayed to be exactly where you are today.
Let that sink in.
Think back a few years, or even just a few months. Maybe you were staring at a goal that felt impossibly far away. Maybe you whispered a quiet prayer for the very thing you now hold in your hands. The relationship. The job. The home. The business. The healing. The season you're living in right now.
I know it might not feel perfect. It might even feel hard. Some days are heavy, and I won't pretend otherwise. But even in the middle of the hard, I truly believe there's someone, an earlier version of you, who would have given anything to stand where you're standing today.
That's worth honoring.
We're so quick to move the finish line. The moment we reach something we once dreamed of, we barely stop to celebrate before we're chasing the next thing. But you deserve a moment to look back and say, "Wow. I actually did that."
Here's the beautiful part: you can honor your progress and keep dreaming. You can be grateful for today and excited for tomorrow. Gratitude doesn't cancel out ambition. It fuels it. When you appreciate how far you've come, you build from a place of joy instead of a place of lack.
That's what we hope every candle we make represents. A little light. A reminder that you're doing better than you think. A spark of hope for the brighter future ahead.
Before you rush into Monday, take five quiet minutes. Light a candle if you have one. Then look at your life through the eyes of the person you were a few months or even a few years ago. What would they say to you right now?
I think they'd be so proud.
You've come further than you realize. Appreciate where you are. Celebrate how far you've come. And keep creating change, one small, brave step at a time.
