Wow! What a doozy today was! It started out as just the two of us working to re-plastic the main house. The wind quickly picked up and we had to call for reinforcements. Thankfully, Todd’s brother Ty, our son Trent, and our good friend Rob were able to come help! When the day came to an end, both hoops had their double layer of plastic on and the wiggle wire was all in place. We are putting roll-up walls in both sides and those will be started tomorrow!

New plastic on the main house today… We’re up and at it this morning and by the end of the day we’ll be ready for winter porch pot workshops and poinsettias.

What are we doing now that our “busy season” is over? Todd is putting up a new greenhouse to be able to space plants better before we can move them outside. This will also give us room for planting classes next spring!

This year we had the honor of growing the flowers for the city of Algoma. Their crew did a fantastic job of planting and maintaining them throughout the season! Take a walk through town and enjoy their beautiful planters 🌺

The city of Algoma always does such a great job on all the flowers through town! My fave is this little boat near the beach. Algoma

If you haven’t been to Kitty O'Reillys Irish Pub this summer, you have GOT to go!! They food is delicious, the drinks are plentiful, and the service is right on! Wait, have I mentioned the flowers they bought from Maas Greenhouses? The combination of sweet potato vines, giant pink petunias, and purple fountain grass around the perimeter, make their patio feel like you’re on vacation! Amy does a great job planting, watering, and fertilizing throughout the season. Stop by, check out the flowers throughout the establishment and have a meal while you’re there!
