Starting Wednesday July 22nd we will trial Design'yer Donut style. It will be every Wednesday. We will stop serving these 30 minutes before closing. We will still have Foltz Originals too. If you want more than 4 made up Design'yer style please call ahead or know you may have to wait if we have a line. This is all new to our current staff so please be kind. Here is the menu. The menu will change from time to time. We will be using ROUND fillable donuts. We will only have so many so once they are gone, then we will have more the following Wednesday. We did this at our original business and are excited to share them with our Foltz customers.

Every other week, we want to feature a downtown Sturgis business in case you didn’t know they were there, haven’t visited yet, or may have forgotten they’re right here in downtown Sturgis. We encourage shopping local, so our local dollars stay within our community!

This week, we are showcasing Willers Shoes, located at 116 W. Chicago Rd.

Willers Shoes is currently owned by Elizabeth & Buddy Denman since 2021, but Willers has been in business since 1934! Harry and Leone Willer opened shop downtown in 1934 which was originally located 2 blocks east of the current location before moving to where they are now. Todd Maynard took ownership in 1982 until Elizabeth took the reins in 2021 making Willers the longest running business in downtown Sturgis.

Some fun facts about Willers: They serve customers from all over! From locals to Chicago, shipping to California and Texas! They also do special orders on brands that they carry for customers. There is the “sale basement” downstairs, along with, safety shoes for men and women and much more.

Shoes are their specialty, including children’s shoes, but they are also a boutique shop with offerings of clothes, jewelry, soaps and other boutique items. Other fun facts, you will see at the end of summer they will start carrying winter boots. Willers continues to be an anchor retail store for downtown Sturgis.
