Duck Petals

New England farmhouse style decor and more

We have had a lot of orders this spring for our Duck Petals original garden flags! 🎉 They have been delivered to many U.S. states over the past few years (hoping to reach them all one day) and even internationally as well. This spring they went to a dozen states 🇺🇸 and all the way to Ottawa, Canada, too! 🇨🇦

Many of these flags were designed to promote awareness of “wild gardens” that are filled with native plants that benefit the life cycles of birds, bees, butterflies, bats, insects and other essential pollinators. 🌼🐝✨

Receiving such positive feedback from customers who have spread the word by sharing these pollinator friendly garden messages in their own yards means the world 🌎 to us!

Thank you for intentionally planting to create pollinator habitats. 🦋 Every pollinator friendly space - no matter how big or small - can make a difference!

New to the Duck Petals shop! ✨ A photo art series featuring my New England farmhouse backyard blooms. This petite framed canvas print is titled “Dandelion Wish.”

I love the matte finish combined with the modern white frame. It almost looks like a painting with fine brush strokes. It arrives ready to hang on a wall or it can stand on its wooden frame to help fill a bookshelf space.

There are currently 5 unique garden bloom images available including some of my favorite home-grown dahlias. Each month I will add a new print to the collection. Together, they could be the start of a nature inspired gallery wall.

Do you have an area where you’re leaving the leaves? 🍁 Letting nature do its thing is a great — and easy — way to provide safe shelter for our littlest creatures as they tuck themselves in from autumn through early spring when they reemerge. If you want to hear more birdsong in the summer months, leaving leaves now can help protect the overwintering insects that birds will later bring back to their nests to feed their young. The leaves also serve as a layer of mulch, breaking down to provide nutrients to the ground beneath. Give not raking a try … you’ll be glad you saved yourself the effort!
