Took a deep dive into old photo albums last night reflecting on my 45 trips around the sun ☀️

This one jumped out at me. When phones had cords, when my bed post was used as microphone to sing my favorite 90’s songs, when my room was full of horseback riding ribbons, when I got ready for my first High School dance.

This girl had no idea what was ahead of her. There are so many things I’d love to tell her that would have made things a little easier. She struggled, she made lots of bad decisions, but her heart was big. She grew, she learned and she worked really hard. She learned that she always had the power. She just had to learn for herself ❤️

This is 16 & 45.
