The founder of Cindy’s Soap Cottage, Cindy Liquori, began teaching herself how to make soap as a past-time for herself, family and friends. As more and more people were raving about her soap recipes, she started experimenting with body butters, hand sanitizer, bug sprays, and more. In 2015, Cindy officially opened up a brick-and-mortar shop, where family, friends and new customers grew to love the
Cottage’s unique selection of handmade soaps, lotions, bath bombs, candles, and so much more. Today, Cindy’s Soap Cottage is owned and operated by Cindy’s brother, David Palmer. Following his sister’s extensive recipe book, David has kept Cindy’s Soap Cottage open in memory of Cindy’s love of beauty products and her love for her customers. As of summer 2023, Cindy’s has moved to be an online only store for the time being. All of our products are handmade in Suffield, CT and contain no parabens, sulfates, or phthalates. Our specialty soaps are made with coconut, olive, and castor oils so they won’t dry out your skin.
