Back at The Big E for my third year judging Jams, Jellies, & Preserves! As a maker myself, I know the exact amount of sweat, science, and love that goes into every single entry.

I am completely blown away by the sheer volume and precision this year. We're looking for perfectly suspended fruit, checking the headspace, and admiring that flawless set and crystal clarity. Huge props to everyone who spent their summer over a boiling water bath to bring their absolute best to the fairgrounds.
