🥓 Homemade bacon — FINISHED!

Started with pork belly, cured it, loaded it up with black pepper, smoked it low and slow, chilled it, sliced it, and finally got it into the frying pan.

No fancy stuff. No sugar. Just homemade smoked pepper bacon from start to finish.

And that first test batch in the skillet? 🔥🔥🔥So good I didn’t get a cooked photo.

There’s something pretty satisfying about turning a slab of pork belly into your own bacon.

Safe to say… I’ll be doing this again. 😂🥓

This pork belly is seasoned up and ready for the next step. There’s just something different about making your own bacon—taking your time, building the flavor, and eventually letting the smoke do its thing.

No shortcuts. Just good meat, good seasoning, and a little patience.
