Father God,
As our children and students begin their first day of school, I place each of them in Your loving hands. Go before them into every classroom, hallway, cafeteria, and school bus. Surround them with Your protection and give them peace, confidence, wisdom, and understanding.

Lord, bless the teachers, administrators, counselors, and staff who will guide them. Let our children be surrounded by kindness and positive influences. Protect them from harm, bullying, fear, anxiety, and anything that would distract them from the purpose You have for their lives. Help them to learn, grow, make good decisions, and remember that they are wonderfully made and capable of great things.

Allow school to be a place where they can find moments of peace, laughter, friendship, and hope. Place compassionate people around them who will recognize when they need encouragement, patience, or simply someone to be there.

Lord, cover all of our children as they begin this new school year. Let this be a year of growth, favor, new opportunities, good friendships, academic success, and beautiful new beginnings.

May Your angels watch over them as they leave home and bring them safely back again. Give us peace as we entrust them to You, knowing that wherever they go, You are already there.
