But that’s because I genuinely love what I do and private Plant & Sips are some of my favorite events to host.

Here’s the thing: adding a terrarium workshop to your event isn’t just about making plants. It’s about giving people something to DO together. Something creative. Something they actually remember.

If you’ve been misting your succulents… I need you to stop 😅

I get this question at literally every workshop, so you’re not alone. But here’s the thing, succulents are desert plants. They need deep watering at the SOIL, not light misting on the leaves.

When you mist them, water sits on the surface and gets trapped in the rosette. It can’t dry fast enough indoors, which creates the perfect environment for powdery mildew and rot.

And the worst part? While the leaves are rotting… the roots aren’t even getting water. So your plant is literally dying of thirst AND rotting at the same time 💀

What they actually need:
✅ Deep water at the SOIL
✅ Let it dry COMPLETELY before watering again
✅ That’s it. No misting.
