It's been a very long week over here on our corner of Route 9. The kind of week where you look at the calendar, swear it's Friday, and discover it's somehow not.š„“
As spring gives way to summer, we wanted to take a minute to say thank you.
Thank you for every breakfast sandwich, every coffee, every order placed online, every social media share, every recommendation to a friend, and every time you've chosen to stop in and support our little store.
This spring has been full of growth, projects, new products, unexpected challenges, and approximately 17,000 trips between the store, kitchen, cooler, and back again. Some days we're pretty sure we're running a business. Other days we're just reacting to whatever fresh nonsense the universe has prepared for us, or more often than not, whatever fresh nonsense we've prepared for ourselves.
As we head into summer, we're excited for local produce, camping and fishing additions, new products, community events, and our latest questionable idea: delivery via Honda Ruckus.
What started as a joke has somehow become a real plan. Soon, if all goes well, your sandwich, pizza, snacks, groceries, or emergency ice cream run may arrive courtesy of a tiny scooter that looks like it escaped from a middle-schooler's dream garage. We're honestly not sure if it's our best idea or our worst, but we're committed now.
Thank you for sticking with us through the learning curves, the constant projects, the shelf rearranging, and our tendency to come up with one new idea before we've finished the last three.
We truly couldn't do this without you.
Here's to longer days, warmer weather, summer adventures, and hopefully at least a few weeks where nobody says, "Well... that's not supposed to do that."
