Tuesday has arrived whether we're ready for it or not.

A little Tuesday reminder that seniors and veterans receive 10% off! Just let us know at checkout so we can make sure you get your discount. (Excludes alcohol and to***co.)

We also want to give a big thank you to all the youth hunters and their families who stopped in over the weekend! We loved hearing your stories, seeing your deer, and meeting so many wonderful families. Some pretty proud kids (and equally proud parents and grandparents!) came through our doors. It was really something special to be a small part of your weekend. Just a reminder, we are not charging any fee to register deer this year.

As for today, we've got breakfast sandwiches, homemade pastries, hot coffee, and plenty of good things coming out of the kitchen. Musubi is taking one day off this week, we are waiting for one very important ingredient to arrive. Thanks for your patience.

Will's holding down the store while I'm back in my usual spot, surrounded by bacon, dishes, and the occasional questionable conversation with myself. 🥴

Happy Sunday, friends!

The kitchen and store are both open today from 8 AM to 6 PM.

If you haven't seen much of me lately, I promise I'm still here. I've just been relocated to my new permanent residence: the kitchen dungeon. It's warm, smells like bacon and fryer grease, and I have absolutely no idea what the weather is doing outside.

All jokes aside, I really do miss being out in the store, catching up with everyone, and hearing what's going on in your lives. So if you hear someone yelling hello from the kitchen, it's probably me attempting to maintain some semblance of a social life.

Meanwhile, Will is holding down the store, and he's doing an excellent job, if I do say so myself. He's keeping things stocked, making sure everything gets done, and getting to catch up with all of you while I'm back here covered in grease. Not that I'm jealous or anything.

The kitchen is turning out hot breakfast and lunch, and we've got homemade treats waiting for you in the bakery case, too.

Stop in, say hello, grab something delicious, and tell Will I said hi. Apparently we're coworkers now, but we rarely see each other.

As always, thank you for keeping us busy and giving us a reason to keep cooking, stocking shelves, and occasionally questioning our life choices.

Happy Friday!
It’s youth hunting weekend, and we’re wishing all the young hunters heading out lots of luck!

Meanwhile, the bakery case is full of the usual suspects: homemade loaves, blueberry turnovers, c***r donuts, cookies, and more.

Hot sandwiches are ready, and Will’s SPAM musubi is ready to grab for anyone who needs something delicious on the go.

Next week we’ll be testing the return of you know what. Yes, THAT. If we can figure out how to bring it back without completely losing our minds, it just might find its way onto the menu again. No promises yet, but fingers crossed. 🤞🏽

Happy Sunday, friends!

It was a chilly start to the day, and frankly, we’d like to file a complaint with whoever is in charge of the weather.

We’re here until 6pm today, with both the store and kitchen open and a bakery case full of homemade treats. Blueberry turnovers, mixed berry loaf, cinnamon rolls, c***r donuts, and plenty of other good things to make you forget how cold it is outside.

We also just had our very first deer check-in of our very first season as a check station. Great job, Jarrid, and thank you for helping us kick things off.

Lots of much-needed restocks are coming this week, too. We know some of our shelves have been looking a little neglected lately. We promise we’ve noticed. We’re working on it, along with approximately 437 other things.

And on a more personal note, these past few weeks have been the hardest we've experienced since purchasing this property six years ago. That's saying something, considering what it took to get this place open in the first place. We're navigating a lot behind the scenes, doing our best to keep things moving, and occasionally wondering how many cups of coffee are too many.

Your patience, kindness, and continued support mean more than we can put into words. We love this little store and the community that's grown around it, and we're incredibly grateful you continue to show up for us.

Happy Saturday, friends!

If you're heading to Pumpkin Fest this afternoon, be sure to stop by and visit our wonderful friends at Amazing Grace Animal Sanctuary ! They've spent the last few days baking approximately 1,500 turnovers, which is an impressive amount of pastry and probably enough flour to cover a small village. Stop by, say hello, grab a delicious turnover (or three), and support the incredible work they do for their animals and visitors!

Meanwhile, back here in Sullivan, we've got the coffee brewing, breakfast and lunch coming out of the kitchen, fresh homemade baked goods, and more. Some necessary local restocks are coming early next week, thanks for your patience. 👌🏽

Milton and his crew from Five Sigma Farm have officially made their way down Centre Street, right past our little store, with an entire flock of sheep in tow, headed toward Nelson for some grazing.

A huge thank you to Milton and his crew for giving us all something to smile about today, and to everyone who came out to watch, waved, shared our posts, or followed along from afar.

There’s something pretty special about a community that gets this excited over a flock of sheep walking down the road. And we’re pretty darn grateful we get to be a small part of it.

When two city flatlanders decided to reopen a little country store in New Hampshire, we expected a change of pace. We didn't necessarily expect sheep traffic, but here we are.

Today's the day!

Milton and his crew from Five Sigma Farm are expected to make their way down Centre Street around 10:30 this morning, right past our front door, possibly catching a whiff of whatever we've got cooking, before continuing on to Nelson for some grazing.

Now, if all 700,000 of you who engaged with our last sheep post decide to show up, we're going to have a bit of a parking situation. Sullivan is only so big, folks, and our parking lot can fit 12 cars on a good day. 🥴

In other news, we've got the usual lineup in the bakery case this morning. Fresh c***r donuts, cinnamon rolls, turnovers, cookies, and plenty of other goodies. Breakfast sandwiches and Will's SPAM musubi are hot and ready to grab from the warmer.

Both the store and kitchen are open 6–6 today, sheep or no sheep.

As always, a huge thank you to our regulars, our neighbors, those of you who travel out of your way to visit, and everyone who continues to show up for this little store of ours. We know there are plenty of places you could spend your money, and it means an awful lot that you choose us.

If you're coming to see the sheep, please be mindful of traffic, give Milton and his crew plenty of room, and remember that Centre Street is still a road, even when it's temporarily full of sheep.

Rumor has it that Milton and his woolly crew from Five Sigma Farm will be making their way across Route 9 this Thursday, October 15, around 10 AM! We’ll be sure to share an update when Milton and the gang make their grand crossing. Nothing like a good old-fashioned sheep traffic jam!
