When picking out your appliances, think about your lifestyle. I bought a new dishwasher this morning - a double drawer! I found myself handwashing a lot because I don't cook much so was only running my dishwasher once a week 1/2 full. Now I can choose which size drawer I want to fill or I can run both at the same time. Something to consider. And it is whisper quiet.

I always like seeing pictures of houses under construction. This was a really interesting house for the sweetest couple - loved working with them. I'll definitely be making a trip to see it in person when it's a little further along...

I always have scripture verses on my email signature and an information sheet that I send out. Today someone commented that they liked the verse I had. I replied that I change it out occasionally, needed to update it, and asked if she had any suggestions. She sent me this and I think it's perfect!

By wisdom a house is built,

We've been working really hard at The Plan Shop so now I'm going to take a break and go see God's glorious fall colors. I'll be back in the office on October 9th!

I often tell clients about the VersaLift system - have you ever heard of it? It's an easy way of getting your storage items from or in to your attic without carrying them up/down stairs. There are probably other brands out there but I'm familiar with VersaLift and have talked to the company several times. They are always very friendly and helpful. They have a good website if you are interested.

I first became interested in house plans when I was 10 years old and my parents were sketching for a total remodel of their home (which is now mine!). A friend from high school sent picture to me - I guess this has always been my "thing"!
