There’s no way I could post pictures of each item, but here’s a few!

My phone has evidently caught a case of FALL FLU because it won’t let me post to my messages or notifications😡😬.

So to answer a few questions that came up on my notification page:

Woo Hoo! It’s the final day of the Giddings Library Word Wrangler Book Festival and what a fantastic experience it has been!

So many authors, so many books! We were privileged to hear the winning student authors read their submissions today! Such young talent displayed here— the kids and their teachers should be applauded for their focus and courage in putting their work before audiences!!

Come see me in the shop this Thursday —- lots of stories to tell, lots of new books to show you. The pic below is one of all the featured authors at the festival! Good stuff!

Hello from Giddings Texas and the WORD WRANGLER BOOK FESTIVAL!

What a great venue— the newly renovated Giddings Public Library. The library staff and the book committee have been wonderful— accommodating in every way with food, table coverage, etc!

Today we had BUSES of school kids from the area— ages Kg through Middle school! Great kids and teachers—and I got to read my Scary Hair of Sarah O’Shea book to them! They asked impressive and pertinent questions about writing, inspiration and publishing and were quite well behaved❤️

I was honored to be one of twenty authors chosen from all over Texas to present my books. So much talent here with authors writing in EVERY GENRE! Good contacts, too! Such a fabulous opportunity for networking and visiting with other Texas authors.

I’ll be back in the shop next week with tons of new books— and our FALL/HALLOWEEN themed Blind Date with Books!

Don’t forget to mark your calendars for the Art walk on OCTOBER 10th— and the pumpkin decorating event sponsored by KJ’s and THE BOOK NOOK ON MAIN!

Coming up also is AUTUMN ON MAIN— (October 17) — loads of vendors on Main and around the Square— and all the regular shops will be open as well.

Percy is at Camp with his friends this week, but will be anxious to resume his position as Shop Dog Mascot and get more head rubs

See you soon! Say hi to Nicole when you come to the shop. She’s been manning the BOOK NOOK all week❤️❤️❤️
