Look at what we made! 🪻

Painting Hydrangeas with Lori Anderson-Datus. Each person started with a blank canvas, and two hours later, everyone had a beautiful painting they could proudly hang on their own wall or give to someone they love.

My favorite part is seeing how differently everyone interprets the same painting. Same flowers, same instruction, but every canvas has a little bit of the person who painted it in there.

Thank you, Lori, for another wonderful evening of painting, learning, and creating together. And thank you to everyone who came and spent the evening with us. 💙

Another beautiful Kinusaiga afternoon at Charcoal and Linen. This class is one of my first classes to sell out of each month. I keep meeting the coolest quilters and I continue to be inspired by the works of art that they show me. Kinusaiga is a lot like quilting without any of the sewing. Quilters really enjoyed the process and they are so good with color. Some are really fast and finish early. That is when the magic happens. They make their own design and run with the technique. I am going to use some of their ideas and try some new designs. As there is a demand, I am going to add a couple of classes. Follow along at www.charcoalandlinen.com for updates.
