Our Friday Finishers are wrapping up summer projects and getting ready for cozy fall knitting! 🍂🧶

First up is Lynne, who finished the Mellow Mood Top by Julia Piro using Isager Eco Baby. Lynne loved this well-written pattern, filled with helpful tips along the way—and her finished sweater looks fabulous!

Next is Leah, who worked hard on her Alpaca Mistake Rib Scarf, a Wool & Grace pattern that’s perfect for beginners or for relaxing TV knitting. She used Mode at Rowan’s softest alpaca. Wonderful job, Leah!

And finally, Joy put her own spin on the same Mistake Rib Scarf using Cascade 128, adding fringe for a little extra fun. We love seeing knitters make a pattern their own—and this one looks warm and cozy!

Look at this adorable, warm and cozy mock-turtleneck sweater! 🧶 Meet Poppy by Julie Powell, knit with Juniper Moon Farm’s Rambouillet Air.

This beginner-friendly bulky pullover is worked in pieces from the bottom up in simple stockinette stitch, then seamed together. Rambouillet Air is incredibly soft with a fun thick-and-thin bouclé texture. It may take a little practice to get used to knitting with it, but just look at the result!

And can we talk about these fabulous colors? 😍 Best of all, this sweater was made with just two skeins!

Thirty-two years ago, Karen started needlepointing a Christmas stocking for her son. Then life got busy, as it does, and the stocking was tucked away unfinished.

Fast forward 32 years. Now that Karen works at W&G and spends her days surrounded by beautiful needlepoint and helping others with their projects, she felt inspired to pick up that stocking again. ❤️

But this time, she wasn’t finishing it for her son. She decided to finish it for HIS son—her grandson, Johnny.

And now it’s finished! Take a close look at all those gorgeous details. What started as a stocking for a little boy more than three decades ago has become a special keepsake for the next generation—one Johnny can hang every Christmas and treasure for years to come.

Sometimes a project just has to wait for the right time—and the right person. ❤️

Monday is Needlepoint Day at Wool & Grace, and we had to share this fabulous finish!

Wendi, one of our talented staffers, stitched the Blue Cane Insert for the Everyday Clutch (each sold separately). We love a self-finishing project—and this one can easily be ready for the holidays to carry around yourself or to give as a special handmade gift.

Another week of Friday Finishers—and it’s all about sweaters! 🧶

First up is Caroline, checking in from beautiful Italy! 🇮🇹 Her adorable nephew is wearing the Wee Lima by Taiga Hilliard, knit in Cascade 220 Superwash Wave. This sweet top-down sweater features buttons along the side. So fabulous!

Next is Debi, she made the Salty Days Sweater by Veronika Lindberg for her daughter, knit with Manos del Uruguay’s Sami. With dropped shoulders and extra-long sleeves, it’s luxurious, relaxed, and perfect for a chilly fall day.

Last up is Wendy in the Sweet Escape Rhinebeck Sweater, knit with Loopy Mango’s Dream. She switched up the colors and looks so cozy in this oversized sweater!

🌟 Student Spotlight: Sue! 🌟

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Sue from our Wednesday night class! Sue just finished the Goodview Garter Throw by Nancy Ekvall, knit with Blue Sky Fibers Organic Cotton Worsted. By holding a solid color together with a variegated strand, she created a stunning marled effect—and one incredibly cozy blanket.

This is a great beginner-friendly project and perfect for TV knitting. Sue is always knitting wonderful things for her grandchildren and friends, but this time she decided this blanket is staying with her. Good choice, Sue! ❤️
