It’s been a great start this week for event setups! Setup a large tent for Busch Country music and one for The Jeep Invasion on the strip. Tomorrow off to Waynesville for setups for Hogs & Frogs. And lots of portable toilets going out for the Hillbilly Fair, Jeep Invasion and several more for other other events! Will end the week with some weddings!

We love September at Laurie Tent & Event Rental! It’s the busiest month of the year for us here which means lots of fun festivities that we get to be a part of!
This past week we had 1,000 chairs at the Cole Camp Fair. We setup a 40’ x 110’ tent with tables and chairs for 250 and a big stage for a charity bass tournament. Also, we setup tables and chairs for 350, setup a stage and a 16’ tall backdrop for the NASA champs event at Ozarks International Raceway. We supplied 200 tables at the Lodge of Four Season’s for RK Shows. Finally we ended our week with a tent and party items for Sublime Face & Body Bar’s 2nd annual party, did some inflatables for parties and delivered chairs for a small wedding! What a great week! Next weeks main event is Bikefest Lake of the Ozarks. Ready for another busy week!

Shootout 2024 is officially over for us here @ Laurie Tent & Event Rental. What a few weeks it has been! Rain, extreme humidity and heat, and some perfect weather days too. We began setup on Aug. 14 setting up the 1st tents @ Captain Ron’s in the pouring rain. Then off to setup the Mini Shootout. It was a rough day emotionally for me personally with the absence of Margie Frazier but we persisted and got the job done. Then off to setup for the Hall of Fame dinner at The Lighthouse, much much more setups @ Captain Ron’s, dropping off items for the Poker Run party at Performance Boat Center and The Cave, setting up the street party, setting up for the Make a wish events, and doing some vendor setups. Finally takedown was completed this week. We also had a separate very cool setup for the Shootout Poker Run at Big Dick’s Halfway Inn. I have been lucky to have an amazing team at Laurie Tent and many great people that I have worked with for the Shootout over the last few weeks to make it all happen. Thank you staff, volunteers, the Shootout board, Leah Martin and Rickie Smith for everything. Can’t wait for Shootout 37 in 2025!!

Another Shootout in the books! This was the 10th year for us setting it up. Things have definitely changed and the events have grown dramatically bigger in those 10 years. The event only gets bigger and better! It’s such an honor to be the event company to set it all up. I also can’t say enough great things about our staff and many volunteers that pitched in and helped us these last 2 1/2 weeks of setup. Last week was such a brutally hot one on top of all the craziness. Thank you guys and gals so much!! Can’t wait for next year and the 36th Lake of the Ozarks Shootout!
