A note from Akai Custom Guns
We normally don't discuss customer disputes publicly, and that isn't going to change.
We stand behind the fi****ms we build and have always worked to address legitimate warranty issues when they arise. We also stand behind our company.
A chargeback is not a way to obtain a fi***rm for free. If payment for a fi***rm is reversed while the fi***rm remains in the purchaser's possession, Akai will pursue every appropriate avenue available to protect its property and its business.
Legitimate warranty concerns will be addressed through our established warranty process. What we will not accept is a customer retaining both a fi***rm and its purchase price.
We will handle individual disputes through the proper channels—not through social media. When circumstances like that arise, Akai will protect its interests through the appropriate channels, including contacting law enforcement, ATF, and pursuing available legal remedies.
We appreciate everyone who has supported Akai over the years. We're going back to doing what we do: building guns.
