Today I was part of the Western Lake Superior Trolling Association Veterans Fishing day. I was told 100 veterans were being taken fishing. 34 boats were involved. I had 4 Army veterans and 3 generations on my boat. We did good today. One of my Veteran is 91 1/2 years young. And told me it was one of the best days he had.

We are getting ready for two sports show. Northwest Sport show March 10th till 13th. Then on to Eau Claire sport show March 18th till 20th. Hope to see you there. Only 60 days till the biat goes in the water. I heard there lot of ice up in the bay near Superior.

Fishing on Lake Superior is always a challenge. It has a mind of it own. With the lake not freezing this past winter has cause the lake to warm up early than normal. We some days get lucky and the lake let us catch some fish, but hard. We are hoping the lake will settle down and the fish will start biting in a normal pattern.

Today we took a young man out fishing. His father, Uncle and Grandpa join him. He only 8 years and enjoy all type of fishing.

Today we had first timer fishing people. They did very well. They got a 6 lbs. King Salmon and a 10 lbs. Salmon.

1st charter of the season and what a great trip! These lucky two got 13 in the boat! We fished Wisconsin waters due to the Minnesota charter laws during the pandemic.

Well today I started to get the boat ready for another winter. Our fishing season is over. Fishing the last couple of weeks have been real slow because of the rain and wind. It will be a long seven months before we get to go out in the big water.
