This very lost free range chicken is checking on ‘cookie’ this less than friendly barn cat.. yes we probably have more than our share but they just keep showing up.. thankfully I think that has slowed down the last couple years..
the farm is very thankful for all the barn cats that now call K-Bar Farm home. They have an important job to keep the mice away and that helps keep the snakes away too! I don’t know that we need nine to do this just but this is where we are at with them.. and yes before anyone asks they are ALL fixed even the boys and they all have tipped ears so if they visit the neighbors it can be clearly seen they are fixed and cared for.. so where did they call come from? Well most of them just appeared, from folks dropping off cats on what was once an old back dirt road.. they all have a story I’m sure the farm kids know them all. But K-Bar Farm is home, where they are loved and appreciated..
