Pyramid Lake Nevada is home to the world's largest strain of Cutthroat Trout- the Pilot Peak strain of Lahontan Cutthroat. Extinct for nearly 70 years the strain was reintroduced in 2006 after being discovered in a mountain stream on Pilot Peak. This lake is located on a Native American reservation home to the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe. Please check Tribal regulations for all fishing allowances. B
