Anyone Need a FREE couch, chair or 2 mattresses? They are FREE, come and pick them up, first come first serve, not holding for anyone. Are at 115 West 1st Street in Sutherland, Iowa. They got a little wet in the rain this morning, but will dry out, just got washed, hahaha. Do not ask any questions as I will be away from the computer the rest of the night.

Tomorrow and Saturday are the Sutherland City Wide Garage Sales. We will have both shops open for it also, the 1st Street Thrift and Vinyl is at 115 W 1st and as you can see is loaded with treasures of all kinds. The CD's and DVD's are 25 cents each and there are hundreds and hundreds of each. There are about 15,000 vinyl records in the rock and roll and pop and country western sections. We also will have the book shop open if you need to get stuff to read for the winter months, there are over 10,000 books in paperback and hard cover, paperbacks are $1 each and hard covers are $2 each. The address for that shop is 110 W 2nd. The garage sales start Friday 9/4 from 3-7 and Saturday 9/5 from 9-1. We take cash or check only, no credit cards. Cherie will have her shop open in Calumet tomorrow, Sunday 8/23/26 from 1-4. Right on the main drag in Calumet next to the post office, can't miss it. EVERYTHING in the shop is only a quarter each. Something for everyone, glassware, jewelry, kitchen wares, tapes, dvd's, books, pictures, Christmas decorations, etc. Go and check her out, sorry for the short notice, my mind can't remember anything. Please don't ask any questions as I will not be near the computer the next couple days. She takes CASH or checks, NO credit/debit cards. Thanks.

Cherie will have her quarter shop (everything in the shop cost only twenty five CENTS each) open this Sunday 7/26/26 from 1-4. It is on the main drag in CALUMET, right next to the post office (DO NOT ask me for address, Calumet is only about 100 people and it is the only store on the street that you come into town on). She is always adding new stuff and has tons of it, everything from jewelry, glassware, kitchen wares, books, Christmas decorations, pictures, knicknacks, cassette tapes, DVD's, etc. so please go and have a look, I'm sure you'll find something you could use.

The shop is open now Tuesdays through Fridays from 1-5 at 115 W 1st in Sutherland, Iowa. Because of some garage sales going on in town this weekend I will stay open Friday 5/22/26 until 7:00 pm and will open saturday morning 5/23/26 from 9:30-noon. We have tons and tons of items, two floors completely full, antiques, collectibles, kitchen wares, glassware, furniture, figures, over 10,000 record albums and thousands of 45's, come and check us out, if you can't make it this weekend then don't forget you can come Tues-Fri 1-5. Well, the time has come to open up the store again, We will open Tuesday, tomorrow 4/14/26 from 1-5 and are located at 115 W 1st Street in Sutherland, Iowa. I have expanded the rock and roll albums and added a lot more, they are alphabetical by name, also have section for country western with over 10,000 rock and roll albums there. We also have tons of new furniture, glassware, kitchen wares, pictures, figurines, etc. as have cleaned out 3 or 4 houses over the winter and Cherie has gotten most of it priced and arranged in the shop. She will be open Tuesday and Thursdays for now from 1-5. We take cash (is king) or checks, sorry, NO debit or credit cards. Please don't ask any questions on if we have a certain thing as I work 6 days a week and don't have time to run down there and look, you can just come and look yourself, that is the fun part of antiquing or thrifting, finding that long lost item you have been looking for.

Are you running out of reading material???? Well, we have it!!!! I am going to open the Book Shop this Sunday 3/1/26 from 1-4 at 110 W 2nd Street in Sutherland, Iowa. I have over 10,000 books and all are alphabetized by author. Paperbacks are $1 and hardcover are $2. Besides books we have thousands of greeting cards for $1 each and also record albums, jewelry, dog statues, and tons of other stuff so come and check us out. We take cash or checks only please.
