We also do some clean ups and repairs at the Coffer. If something catches our eye, something that we find fits our style or our personality, we will buy it, fix it, clean it, make it nice! Make sure it works the way it should. This one is going into the Blue Alley Salon and gift shop, in Aurora, Or.

Everyone should check it out and schedule an appointment for a pedicure and a scrub! They do amazing work in an amazing little town surrounded by historic buildings, wineries, antiques, gifts and collectibles.

Also don’t forget to stop by the museum. My cousin is the curator for the past 25 years and can tell so much history and has so much knowledge of not only Aurora, but America all the way around!

This is another shipment 🚢 leaving the Coffer today! This was the Camel 🐪 ci******es poker ♠️ tin. Although I don’t smoke anymore I did have my fare share of Camel ci******es back in the day and really this is a piece of our history as a nation and as humans worldwide that we seem to want to sweep under the carpet. We don’t do that here at the captains Coffer. We embrace history, the good, the bad, and the ugly!

U.S. Martial water color renderings.

I have done some research and found that these came from a book of x4 water color renderings as the clipping on the back of one of the prints shows.

I can find only one listing like it on EBay and these two renderings are not listed in that particular book.

This leads me to believe that these are a rare set and I only have the two out of the four. Makes for interesting conversation for sure.

One rendering is of an 1805 Harpers Ferry and the other is of an 1871 Re*****on.

The frame measurements are 14 3/4 x 11 3/4”.

These are very interesting and neat for sure!
