Friends a great lunch yesterday over at Pomona! They serve up Colombian inspired dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner! The food was delicious and the coffee was tasty. The star of the show was the honey bbq bacon on the Harvset Club 🤩 The space inside is very comfy and cute! It’s the perfect spot to grab a bite with a friend or bring the family! The ocean views are just an added bonus! 🌊

🎆 Tonight’s the night! Join us for Swampscott’s annual 3rd of July Fireworks Festival as we celebrate our community and kick off the holiday weekend together.

Festivities begin at 5 PM on Town Hall Lawn with live music from and Malibu Sands Beach Club, plus local breweries, delicious food trucks, and sweet treats before the fireworks light up the sky at dusk. ✨

🚧 Street closures begin at 6 PM, and parking will be restricted on many surrounding streets. Be sure to plan ahead by checking the Swampscott Police Department page or swampscottma.gov for traffic and parking information.

We’ll see you tonight for an unforgettable celebration! 🇺🇸

📖 Tonight (July 2): Reading Frederick Douglass Together will now take place at Swampscott High School due to the heat, happening now through 7 PM.

🎆 Friday, July 3: Fireworks Festival
from 5–9 PM on the Town Hall Lawn featuring live music by Turtle on a Stringand Malibu Sands Beach Club, followed by the annual fireworks display.

🏃 Saturday, July 4: Celebrate Independence Day with the 4th of July Races at Blocksidge Field, beginning at 10 AM.

☀️ With the heat wave continuing, be sure to stay hydrated, wear sunscreen, and take breaks in the shade while enjoying the festivities.
