What does Matthew 6:26 and a dead deer have in common? 🦌

Well let me tell you…

For years, I have felt God calling me to pursue a full time career in trapping. However, I never could pull the trigger because I was too busy storing up unnecessary earthly possessions that required a big paycheck to keep and the pride associated to the fear of failure. So I kept going to a good paying job with awesome benefits while being miserable because I had more faith in a manufacturing plant than I did in God.

In between is a whole ‘nother lesson I had to learn, but after a very forceful nudge from the Almighty, I finally took a huge leap of faith and have been full-time trapping since the beginning of the year. Some weeks come and I’m not sure what job is going to pay the bills, but God has ALWAYS provided.

Today it was a phone call about a dead deer that needed to be removed and a possum under a house. A career in trapping has not only given me more time to be out in God’s creation, with my family and enjoy the outdoors, but has taught me that if you follow God’s will for your life He will provide. We are worth more than the birds and sometimes it takes a dead deer to remind you of that!

What a great weekend at the GTA Convention! 🦊

We enjoyed catching up with everyone, watching the demonstrations, and, of course, enjoying some good food! The kids had an absolute blast with all the activities, making it a great weekend for the whole family.

A BIG thank you to everyone who worked so hard to put on such a wonderful event. We appreciate all the time, effort, and dedication that goes into making it happen!

We had a great time and are already looking forward to next year! Y’all put on a great show! 👏
