Bethany Formica & Conrad Bender are the dusty duo behind Sawdust Siren. Sawdust Siren is a tiny company specializing in creating unique handcrafted treasures for your home made from repurposed & salvaged lumber, fallen trees, antique horns, found objects, beeswax, and anything else that inspires our curiosity.

We’re nostalgic, sentimental, and nerdy about wood. We love finding new ways to use antique and abandoned elements. We admire the simplicity of old technology and the discipline and longevity of historic craftsmanship, and we have a passion for incorporating both into our work. All of our products are handcrafted in our home in Swarthmore, PA.

Introducing the larger-than-life Eric Berley, the mustachioed maestro behind Shane Confectionery.

Shane Confectionery is seated in what was once the confectionery mecca of America. In the 18th and 19th century, Philadelphia hosted the most active port in the country. Cocoa, fruits, and spices were shipped up the Delaware River to sustain a flourishing confectionery scene.

With every action that we take we feel this hum of history and all of our confections start with a spark of inspiration. We strive to keep tradition alive with our buttercreams, made with the Shane family's 100 year old recipe on the same 100 year old machine that has been used for decades.

Find something for everyone on your nice list this year at the Handmade Holiday Home Sale. Shop everything from boxed chocolates to stocking stuffers, clear toy candy, house-made baked goods & more! 🍫🌲🍪

Eric Berley will be handing out samples of our rich drinking chocolate Thursday Dec. 11 from 5-8pm while supplies last!
