Many have asked this week about Pastry Pants closing.

Robert, his team, and his delicious creations will be very missed.

I am so glad to have had such an amazing business close for the last few years.

Thank you to everyone who made the last three years such a joy. We’re grateful to have played a role in so many celebrations of people’s lives, as well as keeping everyone supplied with freshly baked bread and pastries. We know the news is shocking, but a combination of many factors led to the realization that, in today’s climate of escalating prices and decisions to limit spending, now is the responsible time to end our grand experiment. From our backyard to the center of town, it has been an honor to serve you. Thank you.

Back when I was a merchandiser, I loved Fall outfitting season. Inspiration was often Apple picking or heading out to get pumpkins. I can’t wait for the humidity to drop so we can wear the layered looks and do the Fall things!!!

For now, we can keep embracing summer and everyone should head to the Swarthmore Town Center, Inc. Food Truck a Thon tonight! The shop will be open late for the event and Jeannie will be here painting faces!

Summer went sooo fast, but I am ready to embrace the change of schedule and pace get ready for a great Fall at the shop. New Arrivals are making their way to the shop daily!
