Each of our speakers will be offering some of their items for sale. So, come early and enjoy the days festivities. Our Open House shours are 10am to 4pm each day.

Bio: Through her own personal healing journey, she discovered the benefits of holistic healing modalities and found them to be the most effective path to restoring her health and well-being. She is a certified Reiki Master and Teacher who integrates Reiki with sound healing, crystals, and aromatherapy to support balance and wellness. Passionate about natural living, she embraces herbalism, plant-based remedies, and the use of natural personal care and household products. She enjoys educating others about holistic approaches to health and empowering them to make informed wellness choices.

Description: Join Heather Houskeeper "The Botanical Hiker" for a stroll on the grounds of Delkanic Greenhouse and Farm Market. Heather will introduce a variety of edible and medicinal plants that may be found in your own backyard or garden and in surrounding fields and forests. Learn simple methods for identifying or growing, harvesting, and preparing them as tasty snacks and home remedies. Wild and homegrown plants were deeply valued by our ancestors and indigenous peoples as food and medicine, and we, too, can learn how to weave them into our everyday lives. Bring your curiosity, questions, and a notepad to jot down notes.

Bio: Heather Houskeeper "The Botanical Hiker" is an herbalist and forest therapy guide, long-distance hiker, and author. Heather has professionally guided others into the natural world through seminars, workshops, and walks since 2010 and is the founder of the School of Plant and Place Connection, an in-person herbal medicine school located in Milford, Pa. Heather has hiked thousands of miles, including the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine, studying and working with the plants for food and medicine. She is the author of three trail-inspired books about wild edible and medicinal plants and the Wild Food columnist for Dirt Magazine.
