Payne Motorsports raced at crisp motorsports park this weekend. Got off to a little bit of a rocky start by missing practice and having to start last in our heat race. Finished 4th in our heat which had us starting 8th in the feature out of 16. Ran around 6th to 8th most of the race. Got ran over busting a tire but thanks to Kyle Payne, Brian Casey, Marcus olds, and Cody . They changed my tire and I was able to complete the race crossing the finish line in 5th but was awarded 4th after 2nd was dq'ed for being light at the scales. Thanks for help at shop Brian Casey and Kyle Payne.

Tim went out early for qualifying, and set the fast time. After everyone went out, he ended up 3rd. The pit crew nailed the tire change!! Tim will start the feature from 2nd row inside.

Payne Motorsports had a much better run yesterday at crisp motorsports park than last Saturday. We were a little over 1 second a lap faster this week than last week. Qualified 9th out of 12 and raced up to 6th before a lap 11 caution. As we were about to go back green i started getting fluid all over my visor and seeing it coming up from under the hood at the left front and i lost my power steering. So i called it a night. Special thanks to Brian and Nicole Casey, Dakota Nichols for the ton of work yall put in at the shop this week and Kyle Payne, Vone Taylor and Dustin Taylor at the track. Also thanks to my Wife Hope Payne for her continued support and for putting up with all the late night's at the shop.
