arden Shop and Event Rental Facility, We serve the Sycamore and Dekalb area, but frequently have people travelling to see us from Geneva, St. Charles, Western Suburbs, Chicago, and beyond! The beautiful gardens offer customers a wide selection of annual and perennial flowers not found at big box stores. Within the rustic brick interiors of the old Factory Shop you will find vintage and modern gifts, as well as indoor and outdoor home decor. The Blumen Gardens campus also boasts an on-site Plant Nursery from which it supplies the Landscape Construction and Maintenance Divisions and grows its own plants for the retail garden shop as well.

A sign your garden is doing more than looking beautiful. 🦋

Monarchs need flowers rich in nectar to fuel their journey, especially as they prepare for fall migration.

Want to make your garden more welcoming to them? Plant for continuous blooms. A mix of plants flowering at different times from spring through fall gives butterflies and other pollinators a more dependable food source throughout the growing season.

And for monarchs specifically, don't forget milkweed. It is the host plant their caterpillars depend on.
