We are teaming up with the Sycamore Lions Club for a delicious day at the Cookie Crawl to Crumble Childhood Cancer!

Mark your calendars for this Saturday, September 12th, from 10 AM to 4 PM. It is the perfect opportunity to satisfy your sweet tooth while exploring and supporting our wonderful local businesses.

🎨 Even better, it takes place during the Sycamore Chalk Walk, so you can check out amazing local art and vote for your favorites while you stroll!

💛 Why you’ll love it:

💛 The Mission: Every single ticket purchase helps fund and support local Sycamore area families fighting pediatric cancer.

🗺️ The Game: Pick up your cookie container and a special map at the DeKalb County Courthouse (133 W State St) between 10 AM and 2 PM.

🎁 The Prize: Get your map stamped at every participating business station. Collect them all and return your map to the courthouse to be entered into a drawing for an awesome cookie-themed gift basket!

Sometimes we make the Gospel harder than it really is.

At its heart, the Gospel is the greatest story ever told. God created us to know Him, love Him, and walk with Him. But sin brought brokenness into the world and separated us from the relationship we were created to have with our Creator.

And that's where the beauty of Jesus comes in.

God didn't leave us in our brokenness. He came looking for us. He sent His Son, Jesus, to take our sin upon Himself, to die on the cross in our place, and to rise again so that we could have new life.

That's the Gospel.

It's not about being good enough. It's not about cleaning yourself up before you come to God. It's not about pretending you have it all together.

It's about recognizing that we need a Savior and trusting the One who came to save us.

Maybe you've been walking with Jesus for years. Maybe you're just beginning to ask questions about faith. Wherever you are today, I want you to remember this: God's love for you isn't based on how well you performed today. His grace is a gift.

The cross is proof that God was willing to go farther than we could ever imagine to bring us home.

Don't ever lose the wonder of that.

Jesus loves you. Jesus died for you. Jesus rose again. And because He lives, your story doesn't have to be defined by your past.

That's good news worth holding onto every single day.
