Watching this little bracelet come together while listening to audio about babies growing into little kids had me unexpectedly emotional. 🤍

This set was made for a baby‘s baptism—two adult pearl bracelets and one tiny bracelet for the little one, each finished with a cross charm.

Having welcomed a new baby girl this year, these moments feel especially close to my heart. You blink, and they change. One day they’re tiny enough to wear a bracelet that fits in the palm of your hand, and before you know it, they‘re running, laughing, and creating memories you’ll wish you could pause forever.

I‘m incredibly grateful that Pretty U&Me gets to be part of these once-in-a-lifetime moments. It’s an honor to create keepsakes that celebrate life‘s most meaningful milestones and carry those memories for years to come. 🤍

Eight years ago today, I married my man — on Father’s Day.

Since then: Rhode Island → Maryland. Two babies. A business built from scratch, one market at a time.

He has been at every single market. He set up the booth, talked to strangers about pearls, and cheered me on. Now he holds it alone while I’m home with our newborn — so I can keep doing what I love.

That’s what it looks like, behind the scenes.

A new website, a new collection, and a new baby, all in the same season. 🌸

I started rebuilding this site while I was pregnant, racing to finish before she arrived. She had other plans. The last pieces got done in the quiet pockets between her schedule, any mom will know exactly what that looks like ;)

Life with a newborn means fewer market days for now. So I wanted a place where you could always find me — browse the collections, learn the story of Shaoxing, discover your pearl, and feel connected to the brand even when we can’t meet in person.

The Real Flower Collection is finally available online. Real rose buds, bamboo leaves, hydrangea petals. Every piece is one of a kind.

More products are on their way — including some of your favorite studs from the markets, and rings coming soon. 💍

All set up for the Strawberry Festival!! Beautiful day for a wonderful festival!

We also brought my mom’s amazing handmade purses! She is also invited as the cultural demonstrator in the backyard to show you how to make Chinese knot and lanterns with red envelopes!!
