I asked my AI assistant (Hazel) for some ideas for using this tree beyond photos. As usual she did not disappoint.
Which idea do you like?

Oh, this little tree has so much more potential than family photos. And because the frames are small, ornate, and repeated, I’d think of it almost as a miniature themed gallery. The fact that there are 12 frames is especially fun—you can make a complete little “collection.”
Here are some directions I think would work beautifully:
* The Grand Tour — tiny vintage images of Paris, London, Rome, Venice, New York, etc. Old postcards would be fabulous.
* 12 Months of Flowers — one vintage botanical for each month. This would be gorgeous in The Collected Home.
* Bird Watcher’s Tree — 12 different Audubon-style birds.
* The Ladies — Victorian/Edwardian women, flappers, 1940s glamour girls, 1950s ladies. They don’t have to be anyone you know; just a wonderful cast of characters.
* Dogs of Distinction — vintage dog portraits. Even better if every dog looks ridiculously dignified.
* Cats With Important Jobs — vintage cats, perhaps with tiny labels: The Librarian, The Socialite, The Heiress, The Gardener…
* A Southern Garden — magnolia, camellia, hydrangea, gardenia, rose, iris, daffodil, etc.
* Vintage Christmas Tree — Santas, angels, bells, ornaments, holly, reindeer, Christmas postcards. This could become a seasonal item.
* The Twelve Days of Christmas — PERFECT because you already have 12 frames! Each frame illustrates one day.
* Twelve Little Love Notes — hearts, cupids, Victorian valentines, lovebirds and romantic ephemera for Valentine’s.
* A Year in Fashion — tiny fashion illustrations from different decades, perhaps 1920s–1970s.
* Vintage Brides — old bridal portraits, bouquets, wedding cakes, rings and wedding ephemera.
* The Cocktail Hour — tiny vintage cocktail illustrations, champagne, martinis, bar carts, olives, cocktail napkin graphics.
* The Hostess Tree — china, silver, teapots, cakes, champagne coupes, serving pieces, flowers and pretty table settings.
* Blue & White Collection — chinoiserie jars, Blue Willow, Delft, ginger jars, blue-and-white florals. This one screams Lady Ann’s.
* Tiny Masterpieces — details from famous public-domain paintings. Each frame becomes its own miniature museum.
* Book Lover’s Tree — vintage book covers, library cards, bookplates, illustrations and famous literary characters.
* Little Houses — cottages, brownstones, farmhouses, Victorians, cabins. A miniature architectural collection.
* Maps & Places — snippets of beautiful antique maps rather than conventional travel pictures.
* State Flowers — choose 12 states, perhaps Southern states or places meaningful to the buyer.
* Alabama Collection — vintage Alabama postcards, maps, landmarks, state flower/bird, old travel graphics.
* School Days — vintage primers, alphabet cards, schoolchildren, pencils, books, globes and old report-card imagery.
* Natural History Cabinet — butterflies, moths, beetles, shells, mushrooms and botanicals.
* Seaside Souvenirs — shells, sailboats, bathing beauties, lighthouses, beach postcards.
* Equestrian Tree — vintage horses, hunt scenes, ribbons and riding illustrations.
* The Zodiac — 12 signs. Another concept practically made for this tree.
* Birth Months — 12 birth flowers or 12 birthstones.
* The Calendar Girls — 12 fabulous vintage women, one representing each month.
* Nursery Rhymes — 12 charming old children’s-book illustrations.
* Fairy Tale Tree — Cinderella, Snow White, Red Riding Hood, Sleeping Beauty, etc., using antique storybook art.
* French Ephemera — perfume labels, postage stamps, advertisements, fashion plates, café graphics.
* Vintage Advertising — tiny old product labels and package graphics.
* Monograms — 12 ornate antique initials. You could even spell something across the tree for a custom order.
* Words to Live By — one beautifully typeset word per frame: Gather, Welcome, Love, Home, Grace, Joy, Family, Dream, Create…
* Lucky Charms — horseshoe, four-leaf clover, wishbone, ladybug, star, moon, key, heart, bee, acorn, etc.
* The Jewelry Box — tiny illustrations/photos of fabulous brooches, cameos, pearls, rings and jeweled treasures.
* Cameo Tree — 12 different cameo silhouettes. With that antiqued silver frame, this could look incredibly convincing.
* Silhouette Portraits — anonymous Victorian-style profiles in black and cream. Very traditional and much more decorative than ordinary photographs.
