In Your Ear Music Emporium In Your Ear Music is an independently owned music store in Sylva NC Since 1994. If we don't have it, we can get it: most special orders arrive in 2-3 days.

For 29 years In Your Ear Music Emporium has been WNC's independent music store and source for cool stuff in the world of recorded music. Women owned and operated by Lauren who opened it in 1994 after graduating from WCU. Our mission has always been to provide for the needs of the community by selling an experience, we love what we do. Out of print? No problem. Nine times out of ten, we can get that hard to find album you've been searching for, and at the price you're willing to pay. Try that at one of the "big box" stores. Our staff is knowledgeable and committed to providing the service our customers need. If we don't know the answer to a question, you can bet every one of us will do whatever we can to find that answer for you- whether it's an upcoming release date, an obscure "who played on what album?" head scratcher, or what pickups might sound the best in your Les Paul. Need some hip stuff for your dorm room or apartment? We've got posters, tapestries and plenty of ideas to help you out. From body jewelry to hacky sacks to band t-shirts, IYE has a little bit of everything.

The Buzz is heading to Sylva & Jackson County this weekend! From arts and local markets to live music, college football and community celebrations, Sylva has a packed weekend ahead.

🎬 FRIDAY: Kick things off with the Free Friday Film at the Jackson County Public Library. Later, Sylva Pride Weekend gets underway with Pride Mass, followed by Drag Karaoke Friday night. 🎤

🌶️ SATURDAY: Start your morning at the Jackson County Farmers Market, check out the 16th Annual Youth Arts Festival, then enjoy the Sylva Pride Chalk Walk & Read-In. Later, head to Bridge Park for the 3rd Annual Salsa Showdown with salsa tasting, vendors and live music! 🎶

🏈 And don't forget WCU Football! Western Carolina takes on Presbyterian Saturday as part of WCU Family Weekend. 💜💛

SUNDAY: Downtown Sylva closes out the weekend with the Sylva Pride Festival & Parade, bringing the community together for an afternoon celebration.
