Acceptable Items:
New or gently used:
o Upscale/boutique/trunk show clothing items from newborn-junior XL
o Shoes
o Accessories (belts, hairbows, tights, etc.) o Maternity clothing
o Baby items (swings, strollers, highchairs, carseats, etc.) in working
condition
o Books/DVDs
o Toys, games, puzzles
o Bedding, window treatments
o Furniture/décor (children’s artwork, crib, etc.) We WILL NOT
accept:
• Clothing that is out of date, stained, ripped, pilled or soiled
• Recalled items
• Items missing parts/in non-working order
• Undergarments
• Breast pumps
Entering Items into the System/Printing:
• Before beginning, it’s best to sort all items by type (clothing, shoes,
furniture, etc.) and then by gender and size to simplify tagging
• Once you are signed into the system, click on Manage Items
o Next, click on the blue Add button in the upper left
o Choose a Category (boy’s shirt for example)
o Select a Size (3m for example)
o In the Desc field you may type brand, condition and description of
item (for ex. NWT Ralph Lauren navy shorts)—the more descriptive
you are the better in case your tag is lost or falls off
o Next, choose a Price (rule of thumb is to ask yourself what would I
pay for this item? Generally ½ to 1/3 of the cost)
o Discount: If you want to have your item discounted on the last day
of the sale by 50%, check the discount box
o Donate: If you choose to have your unsold items donated to
charity, check the donate box
• To print tags, click on Manage Items, select all the items/tags you want
to generate and print and then select print. Please print all tags on heavy cardstock
(paper can easily wrinkle, tear or rip). Tagging:
• All clothing items must be on hangers with the open hook of the hanger
facing left (when you are looking at the item it forms a ? )
• Tag must be placed on upper left chest of item (the garment’s left, not
your left) using a SAFETY PIN. NO STRAIGHT PINS OR CLOTHES PINS
WILL BE ACCEPTED.
• Outfits must be hung/pinned together using a SAFETY PIN.
• Shoes may be placed inside Ziploc bags with the tag taped onto the bag
with clear packing tape or zip-tied together
• Please place puzzles or any toys with pieces inside Ziploc bags or saran
wrap together with the tag taped onto the item with clear packing tape.
