The amount of work put into this one will never be forgotten. North Georgia is incredible! This one was earned. I can’t thank Clint “Soup” Campbell enough for helping me pack it out. It was literally straight up for several hundred feet. Shot was at 7:23am and we got back to camp at 4:30pm. The Thunderchild did what it does, the Dark Timbers flew true with a 200 grain VPA up front. The Raincrow arrow tether held my arrow on the shelf perfectly until it was go time! I’m impressed with em! A little about my set up and I can’t thank Jeff at Easton enough for pulling off something incredible. I called Jeff Tuesday and said I’d like to saddle hunt. He jumped through hoops to get me a complete setup ready to hunt by Thursday as I was leaving Friday. Saturday I would have given it to anyone that wanted it. Sunday it was better and Monday I had it figured out with several adjustments. Tuesday it lived by its name and I felt as if I was sitting on a cloud. Tuesday it helped as one of the puzzle pieces and I’m now a saddle hunter and absolutely love it. We will soon have a full line of Arsenal saddles, sticks and accessories in stock. I do still love hunting from the ground as well but the saddle will win on a lot of hunts. I have some videos when I have service to see how I can put it all together. The shot was on a GoPro but it was fairly dark still so we shall see what it captured (stay tuned).

For Labor Day weekend, treat yourself to a new bow. The website has a few Big Jim’s with more to come. Lots of other brands as well. Several of these miraculously came back from etar and are brand new. Several have been bought back from customers.

Andreas Nolte traveled all the way from Germany! He’s taking back with him a beautiful Big Jim “Thunderchild”! It was an absolute pleasure to chat and watch him stack some arrows with it. Safe travels back across the pond, sir!
