They still exist folks. Collections of unused new old stock Aurora slot cars are still in the wild.. These are all T-jet and Non-Mags. Not a dated chassis in the entire 574pc lot !
Story is the 75yr old gentleman's dad, worked 3rd shift at Aurora in the early 1970's.. Dad was an engineer so they only played with a few, and kept the others 'nice.' Nice indeed.
After 911, he moved to the country, up my way. After a few years of pursuit, I was the lucky 2nd-in buyer.

Vintage Aurora Restomod transforming the '55 Chevy Bel Air, into a 1957 Nomad Station Wagon... for racing ! The body sits at just the right rake, and clips in like a glove.
