Syracuse Cultural Workers is proud to be part of the No Kings Coalition.
For over a year, millions of us have said it together: power doesn't belong to billionaires, strongmen, or politicians who think they're above the law. It belongs to the people, but only if we use it.
Today, we're announcing the next step. On October 17, No Kings: Vote Early will bring communities together nationwide: block parties, rallies, walks to the polls, and everything in between, all working toward one goal: making sure every eligible voter has a plan, knows their options, and is ready to make their voice count.
Efforts to undermine trust in our elections, weaken voting rights, and make it harder for people to be heard are happening across the country right now, not sometime down the road. That's exactly why we're not waiting for Election Day. Voting early means making our voices heard on our own terms: before Election Day, before the last-minute chaos, before anyone else decides what happens next.
This isn't a protest. It's a nonpartisan day of voter participation, and it's for everyone. New events are being added to the map every day, save the date, find your event, or sign up to host one in your own community. Join us Thursday night, September 10 at 8 pm EST for the initial Kickoff Call for October 17. You'll hear about the thinking behind the campaign, what you can do and how to involve others.
No Thrones. No Crowns. No Kings.
