It's raining, its pouring, this old man was decidedly not snoring!

We have had a bit of a water snafu in the ceiling and will be closing at 4pm to allow our repairman time to fix the pipe and dry us up,

No word yet if he would like someone here to read to him while he works, but I'm guessing no....

Something big is coming to Central New York!

We’re thrilled to officially announce the first ever Central New York Book Crawl from July 10-19, 2026. This will be a community-wide celebration of indie bookstores, readers, and the magic that happens when we show up for each other. Because this crawl is built by the community, we’re kicking things off with a design contest.

We’re inviting creatives, readers, artists, and book lovers to submit a design that could become the official CNY Book Crawl theme. The selected design will be featured across the crawl, and the creator will receive:
- Bragging rights
- A complimentary themed book crawl t-shirt
- A themed tote bag as a thank-you

This is a volunteer, community-led contest (unpaid, fully credited) rooted in collaboration and love for local bookstores. Design submissions are open now! (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLScYoS5GtH30x7Zt3bCUgUpEIaz3i7QmivnPM9yhFgJY58yw5g/viewform?usp=publish-editor)
