Rory turns 7 today!

If you’ve been into Puget Sound Fly Shop, chances are you’ve been greeted by one of our favorite four-legged shop employee. Whether he’s asking for ear scratches, supervising your fly selection, or just napping on the floor, Rory has been making the shop a better place for seven years.

Stop by the shop today, give Rory a birthday scratch, tell him “Happy Birthday,” and help us celebrate one of the best shop dogs around. We know he’d love to see all of his friends!

Happy 7th Birthday, Rory! Here’s to another year of greeting anglers, stealing hearts, and keeping the shop running.

Fly Bin Refresh — Just in Time for Spring Fishing

We just restocked the bins with RIO and Solitude flies, and the timing couldn’t be better.

Out in the Sound, it’s chum fry season, which means sea-run cutthroat are on the hunt. We’ve got plenty of fry patterns ready to go if you’re chasing fish along the beaches.

If you’re heading east to the Yakima, keep an eye out — Skwala stoneflies are starting to hatch, and the trout are looking up.

And if you thought Dolly Llamas couldn’t get any better… check out the new Mini Dolly Llamas and Flashtail Minis. Same fish-moving profile in a smaller package that’s perfect for trout and bull trout.

Swing by the shop and stock up before the next trip. The fly bins are looking good right now.
